Is it out of control when couponing turns the otherwise honest housewives & mother’s into criminals? I have heard too many stories lately, that really make me think!
One story I heard recently was from a Publix store manager. He said that this past Sunday, they found four papers stuck in the breakfast aisle. They were obviously robbed of all the coupons! I was mortified! I cannot believe someone would be so bold as to remove coupons from newspapers in the store and stick them in the Cereal. This store does have security cameras and will hopefully identify this crook!
Another story that was recently emailed to me is even worse. We will name these ladies A, B & C. Person A is friends with person B. Person B always has lots of extra inserts and shares them with person A. (That is sweet of her) However, person B is friends with person C, who happens to be a newspaper delivery gal. One day, person A asked person B, How does she get so many Coupon inserts? To person A’s surprise, person B tells her that her friend C takes them out of the papers for her. Person A has since stopped taking her friend B’s “extra inserts”. WOW is all I can say! Does B & C not realize that this IS A CRIME!
Now, I bet these wives & moms probably NEVER thought they would be a thief. They may not even realize that they are indeed stealing. This is stealing. You can & will be arrested for this! Now I understand why so many papers do not have inserts. It’s amazing that couponing has turned into this.
Please, please, please acquire your coupons legally! The few that are stealing inserts can & will ruin couponing for everybody!
