How did I score (4) Avery Durable Binders for 40¢?? (10¢ each!!)
Well, first of all I waited until the last minute to grab binders! I just haven’t seen great prices on them this year! Both my little ones had to have (2) 1inch binders each! BOY, am I glad I waited!!! Here is how I grabbed these up today for 10¢ each!!
First of all…Staples is running a deal right now, where they give you $2 off any binder when you bring in and recycle any old binder.. (ANY..meaning any brand and I assume any condition) There is no limit on how many you can recycle, but you are only allowed $2 off for each binder you purchase. We have LOTS of old beat up binders around the house!
Now for the fun part…Staples also price-matches any local competitor!! This week at Walmart Avery® 1″ Durable Binder with Clear Cover are only $2.47! (this is a pretty good price)
We grabbed (4) old beat up binders & the Walmart ad and to Staples we went! I price-matched Walmart’s deal on binders, making them $2.47 each or $9.88 for all four. Then I got my 15% off with my Staples Back to school savings Pass, taking off an additional $1.48! (This pass costs $10, but mine has paid for itself several times already!)
NOW…I got $8 off for my (4) old recycled binders! Bringing my total down to 40¢!! (plus tax)
