**How do I calculate my savings percentage**

**Figuring out your savings percentage really puts your savings into perspective! I like to do this per receipt and then at the end of the month I like to do the whole months savings. Below we take you step by step to learn how to calculate your savings percentage!**

**First of all, How much was your purchase total before your coupons? (some people like to calculate this before coupons & Sales)**

**For this example we will use**

**$188.28**

**Now, how much did you actually pay? This is considered your “Out of Pocket” cost or OOP.**

**For this example we will use**

**$52.47**

**Now subtract the OOP amount $52.47 from the original price $188.28 to get the amount you saved**

**$188.28-$52.47=$135.81**

**Now divide the amount saved $135.81 by the original price $188.28.**

**$135.81÷$188.28=0.72**

**Lastly, Move your decimal Point over two spots to the right.**

**There you have it!! On this trip we saved**

**72%!!**

**Now you can be blown away by how much you are actually saving using coupons!**
