Have you signed up for the new Target Cartwheel Facebook Savings Program yet? It’s been around for about a month, and I am just getting around to trying it out.

What is Cartwheel?  Together with Facebook, Cartwheel lets you connect with friends to share your favorite deals plus save money on the products you love. Target Cartwheel Coupons are similar to electronic coupons. You simply ad coupons to your Cartwheel. You either print your Cartwheel Coupons or use your phone at the checkout to pull up your coupons. All of your Cartwheel Coupons are added to one barcode.  Cartwheel Coupons can be used in conjunction with Target Store coupons & manufacturer coupons!

How to get started?  Head over HERE to sign up for Cartwheel. You must have a Facebook account to participate.

Once you have signed up, you will see a screen similar to this one.  Click on Browse to see the current Cartwheel offers.  How many offers can I have on my Cartwheel?
You get 10 spots automatically just for joining Cartwheel. From there, you can earn additional spots by unlocking Cartwheel badges. How do you do that? Check out “my badges” to see which badges you’ve already unlocked, and read hints to help you unlock more.

To redeem your offers pull Cartwheel up on your Smartphone or computer.  Click on my Cartwheel as seen above and then click on the redeem in store.  Your barcode will pull up.  If you want to print your Cartwheel, select print on the redeem in store page.

Since this is a fairly new program, many cashiers have never heard of the Cartwheel program.  So be patient, as they may have to ask for help.  Here is how Cartwheel shows up on your receipt:

While the Cartwheel program alone, is probably not enough to make you turn Cartwheels, in conjunction with another Target Coupon and a manufacturer coupon, it just sweetens the savings!  So why not use it!  To make the deals even better, make sure and pay with your Target RedCard to save an additional 5%!  Remember, you don’t have to get the credit card to save 5%!  Our family opted for the debit card.  We still save 5% and get free shipping on Target.com.  The difference is, it is connected directly to our checking account.  Find out more about the Target RedCard head over HERE.
