publix corporate coupon policy

Well here it is…The new policy!  Honestly guys, I don’t think its going to be a big deal.  Not much has changed (thank goodness)

Publix Accepts the following coupons:
•Manufacturer’s coupons
•Publix Store Coupons
•Internet Printable coupons.
•Competitor Coupons (This will very by store.  Each store will have a competitor list of nearby stores)
•We will accept a manufacturer’s coupon and either a Publix or a competitor coupon on the same item.  NOT BOTH!
•We will accept coupons from competing pharmacies for pharmacy purchases only.

Coupon Acceptance Limitations/Exceptions:
•We will not accept percent-off-items or percent-off-total-order coupons.
•We will only accept coupons for identical merchandise we sell.
•Dollar off Dollar coupons will be limited to one Publix and one competitor coupon per order. The order total must be equal to or greater than the total purchase requirements indicated on the coupon(s) presented. (BEFORE COUPONS)
•Acceptance of any coupon is subject to any restrictions on the coupon. (Must be used on Sat, expiration dates, only one per order, etc)
•We reserve the right to limit quantities.
•Manager approval is needed for individual coupons above $5.00.
•BOGO is not changing.  You will still be able to use (2) coupons on (2) items.

So what does this mean to us…. Well…
1.) If your store has been allowing use of multiple Target coupons of the same item…They will no longer allow this, IF the coupon says 1 per person per transaction, or something along those lines.
2.) If you have been allowed to use multiple Green Advantage or Yellow Advantage coupons per order, this will also STOP. Most of these coupons say (1) per person per transaction.

3.) Some Publix stores have been very liberal about what competitors they would accept. This too will likely stop. Your store will post a list of accepted competitors.
4.) Drug store coupons are only going to be accepted for pharmacy purchases. (a lot of stores already are doing this)
